Acemiz-S Tablet Overview
• A fixed-dose combination of aceclofenac, paracetamol, and serratiopeptidase.
• Used to reduce pain and inflammation from bone or soft tissue injury, postoperative inflammation, and oedema.
• Aceclofenac blocks the action of cyclo-oxygenase (COX), causing pain and swelling.
• Paracetamol acts as a mild analgesic and antipyretic, enhancing the pain relief action of aceclofenac.
• Serratiopeptidase breaks down a protein (fibrin) at the injury site, thinning fluids and smoothing fluid drainage.
• Pain can be temporary (acute) or lifelong (chronic).
• Can be taken with or without food, swallowed whole with water.
• Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, indigestion, stomach pain.
• Not recommended for use in children and not to exceed the recommended dose or duration of treatment.
• Uses include treatment of pain after any injury, low back pain, cervical pain, spondylitis, osteoarthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis.
